Terms of Service

These terms govern all services provided by CashelWeb, including website design and hosting, the Cashelweb Business Directory, and the Events Directory at /events. By placing an order, paying a deposit, or creating a directory listing, you agree to these terms.

1. Website service

Our website package includes design, hosting, domain support, routine updates, and basic SEO setup. Annual price is €399. A €99 deposit is required to begin work; the remaining €300 is due when the site is approved and ready to go live. Final payment is required before launch. Annual renewal fees apply to continue hosting and support.

2. Business directory

The Cashelweb Business Directory lists local businesses and is available at no charge on the Free plan. Businesses may upgrade to the Pro plan to unlock additional features such as more photos and enhanced listing visibility.

Free plan — included at no cost; up to 3 business photos.

Pro plan — €9.99 per month or €49.99 per year (billed annually). Pro includes up to 10 photos and priority listing features. Pricing is in euros and includes VAT where applicable.

3. Events directory

The Events Directory at /events lists local events in and around Cashel. Event listings may be submitted by businesses and community organisations. We reserve the right to approve, edit, or remove event listings at our discretion.

4. Directory subscriptions and billing

Pro plan subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

5. Payment processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our own systems. Stripe's terms and privacy policies apply to payment processing.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date business information, lawful content, and timely feedback. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your directory listing and any events you submit. Delays in content delivery for website projects can delay project completion.

7. Content and domain ownership

You retain ownership of your business content and branding. Domain registration for website packages is managed for your benefit and should remain under your business control. Content submitted to the directory is licensed to CashelWeb for display purposes while your listing remains active.

8. Website cancellation and refunds

You may cancel website hosting renewals before the next annual billing date. Deposit refund rules are detailed in our Refund Policy.

9. Acceptable content

We may refuse, edit, or remove any content — including directory listings and event submissions — that is illegal, harmful, abusive, misleading, or otherwise in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.

10. Analytics and tracking consent

We may use analytics and attribution tools to improve our services. These tools are only enabled after consent to non-essential cookies, in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CashelWeb is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business interruption, inaccurate directory data, or third-party service outages.
